Judith Leuenberger is an English Artist. Inspired by the North Yorkshire stormy skies. This exhibition of landscape paintings reflects her fascination with natures changing moods. These paintings explore the quality of light in the Australian skies compared with the moody and often turbulent British skies.

Hello my name is Judith Leuenberger,
I have been painting for over fifty years.
I grew up in England close to the North Yorkshire moors. My inspiration has always been
the light. How it creates the atmosphere and the mood.
The light on the Yorkshire moors is completely different to the light here in Australia, and this is a constant challenge and joy in my work.
With my abstract body of work I attempt to paint light in the form of overlapping waves.
These formations create deep space in which light dances. A conversation then emerges
between cool and warm colours connecting the spaces within.
My Studio is situated in the Northern Rivers near Byron Bay. Visitors are always welcome. by appointment.
